Terms of use
These terms cover your use of Lockbox (lockbox.run, the CLI and its apps), run by Opslane. By using Lockbox, you agree to them.
What Lockbox is
Lockbox lets you share secrets and files with other people and their AI agents. Content is encrypted on your device. We store encrypted data until it expires or is used up.
Your account
You log in with an email address you control. Keep your devices safe: anyone who controls an approved device can open shares sent to you. Tell us right away if you think your account is being misused.
Acceptable use
Don't use Lockbox to:
- send malware, or links meant to trick people (phishing);
- share content that is illegal where you or the recipient are;
- harass, threaten, or abuse anyone;
- share data you don't have the right to share;
- overload, probe, or break the service, or get around its limits.
Because content is encrypted, we can't see what you share. We act on reports and on what we can see, like sending patterns.
You are responsible for what you share
You decide what to share and with whom. Check the recipient's email before you send. Once someone opens a share, they have a copy, and we can't recall it.
Suspension
We may suspend or close accounts that break these terms or put others at risk. Where we can, we'll tell you why.
Limits may change
Limits like file size, number of opens, and how long links last may change.
No warranty
Lockbox is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We work hard to keep it secure and available, but we can't promise it will be error-free or always online. Lockbox has not had an independent security audit yet. Don't use it as the only copy of anything.
Limit of liability
To the extent the law allows, Opslane isn't liable for indirect or consequential losses, or for lost data, from your use of Lockbox.
Changes
We may update these terms. We'll change the date at the top, and email account holders about big changes.
